You’ll first have a consultation with Dr. Sierra where he’ll discuss your dental goals, and assess if Invisalign is right for you. To create the Invisalign clear aligners, using state-of-the-art tech, we’ll take a digital scan of your mouth. No goopy impressions here! Once your aligners are ready, you’ll pop into our office to pick them up and learn how to wear and care for them.
Every so often, you’ll visit our office near you to ensure everything is moving along as planned. Then, after you’ve completed your series of aligners, flaunt that straight, beautiful smile! You’ll then receive a long-term retainer to ensure your smile stays in the desired position.
How Long Do I Need to Wear Invisalign Retainers?
The journey doesn’t end once your teeth are straight. To maintain that picture-perfect smile you’ll initially need to wear your Invisalign retainers all day and night. After some time, Dr. Sierra might give you the green light to wear them only at night. This will prevent your teeth from moving out of place. Regular visits to our office will ensure your teeth stay in their desired position.
Remember, every mouth is unique, so the duration of all-day wear might vary from person to person.
